Job Summary
Spearhead the department's Asset Optimisation strategy by developing and implementing improvement projects, methodologies, and techniques to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Conduct thorough diagnosis of engineering processes, document recommendations, and provide detailed cost, benefit, and risk assessments. Assist Plant Engineers with root cause analysis on downtimes and gather data to derive insights into operational activities. Lead and facilitate engineering BI projects while mentoring stakeholders to drive continuous process and performance improvement. Collaborate across functions to streamline end-to-end processes and ensure delivery of quantifiable value. Requires a First Degree in Engineering and 5-7 years of experience in business process re-engineering. Located in Tarkwa, C5 level, full-time.
Required Qualifications
- First Degree in Engineering, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent tertiary degree
- Extensive demonstrated experience (5-7 years) in business analysis, business process mapping and business process re-engineering
- Detailed understanding of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean tools)
- Knowledge of project planning and project management methodologies
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Excellent relationship development skills, with the ability to balance work and interaction with internal stakeholders, key suppliers, and industry contacts
- Excellent business acumen, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office applications
- A valid Ghanaian driving license and proficiency in driving a light vehicle
