Job Summary
Senior Business Immigration Case Manager to oversee enterprise and mid-market client accounts, guide case strategy, review NIV petitions, support attorneys, and mentor Paralegal staff. Responsibilities include managing case strategy meetings, client development activities, and legal seminars; reviewing petitions prepared by Paralegals; assisting with staff training and process improvements; assigning cases to Paralegals to balance workload; drafting case documents and templated letters for NIVs and PERM cases end-to-end; generating visa-processing metrics and client feedback; resolving issues in case preparation; ensuring SLA compliance; providing training and mentorship; coordinating weekly docket calls and preparing agendas for visa-related client calls; supporting operations for efficiency and productivity; handling ad-hoc requests; using online immigration case-tracking systems; promoting positive remote-work morale; ensuring deliverables are met; and contributing to program management tasks. The role requires a completed bachelor’s degree, extensive experience in immigration petitions (including NIV and PERM), leadership experience, strong English communication, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency with relevant software. Salary range is $65,000–$105,000 annually. The position is remote (LI-REMOTE), with global remote eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree; 7+ years of experience working as an Immigration Paralegal drafting employment-based petitions, including for more complex cases and/or high-profile/enterprise clientele
- Experience drafting petitions for NIV cases (H1B, L, TN, O-1) and/or green card processes (I-140 and AOS) and end-to-end PERM applications preferred
- Experience allocating cases to team members and leading/training less experienced team members
- Proficiency with MS Suite (Teams, Outlook, Word)
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet strict deadlines with careful attention to detail
- Ability to follow due process, templates, and adapt to evolving innovations within the Firm and industry
- Experience with Envoy or similar immigration-case processing software
- Commitment to client service, empathy, and ethical principles
