Job Summary
Prepare petitions and file cases with government agencies by gathering and reviewing documents, drafting case materials, and managing filings. Communicate case status and inquiries to foreign nationals and client contacts while meeting assigned Service Level Agreements and deadlines. Compile and summarize large data sets within case management systems for client and manager reporting. Adhere to firm standards and Data Privacy protocols to ensure regulatory and operational compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer facing or client service-oriented role
- At least two years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal)
- The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines
- Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel
