Job Summary
Prepare petitions for government agencies by gathering and reviewing documents, drafting cases, and filing them while communicating case status to foreign nationals and clients. Compile large data sets within case management systems for client and manager reporting, ensuring all tasks meet assigned Service Level Agreements and deadlines. Escalate case issues to supervisors as needed and follow documented firm standards to mitigate risk and ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, Paralegal certification OR experience in a customer facing or client service-oriented role
- At least two years of business immigration experience (i.e., paralegal)
- The ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and escalate case issues to supervisor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proofread documents, draft fluent prose, and avoid grammatical mistakes without the aid of AI engines
- Experience using various computer systems, including MS Word and Excel
