Job Summary
Senior-level role leading select operations and program initiatives across multiple business groups in a banking operations context. Responsibilities include leading support functions, improving efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness, researching complex business and strategic initiatives, planning and executing programs including risk mitigation and customer experience improvements, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and managing incidents (Major Incident Management) when needed. Requires 4+ years of experience in banking operations, payments processing (international/domestic wires, ACH), and related Oracle-based payment and liquidity management systems; strong knowledge of SWIFT MT and MX/ISO 20022, international trade payments, and data transformation; familiarity with Oracle stack (Flexcube, OBPM-Flexpay, OBLM), SQL, XML, and SDLC; ability to operate in a telecommuting-friendly environment (up to 2 days/week) with in-person presence required at the Charlotte, NC location; Bachelor's degree in a technical field; strong analytical, planning, and leadership capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or a related technical field
- 4 years of experience in business execution, implementation, or strategic planning
- 4 years of experience in banking operations with expertise in payments processing (international/domestic wires) and ACH/Clearing
- 4 years hands-on experience in banking software for payment processing, account operations, and liquidity management including Oracle Flexcube, Oracle Banking Payment Module (OBPM-Flexpay), and Oracle Banking Liquidity Management (OBLM)
- Excellent knowledge of SWIFT payments in MT and MX/ISO 20022
- Experience with international trade payments, loan payments/disbursements, financial accounting, and reconciliation
- Excellent understanding of process flow and data transmission transformation logic
- Experience with Oracle, SQL, XML, and SDLC
- Knowledge of business analysis, software testing, project management, and coordination
