Job Summary
Senior Business Development Manager, Strategic Alliances responsible for sourcing, structuring, and launching new partnerships that accelerate top-line growth with Fortune 1000 companies. Drive long-term, multi-stakeholder deals and cross-functional collaboration with product, marketing, legal, and sales to create scalable value propositions and partner programs. Role is hybrid and based in the Justworks NYC office, requiring in-office presence two days per week when not traveling to visit prospective partners. Responsibilities include strategic origination and deal management, value proposition design, co-selling/co-marketing arrangements, complex contract negotiations, and maintaining a robust partner pipeline; success relies on executive relationship development and cross-functional alignment to deliver mutual enterprise value for SMBs nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships experience
- Proven track record of closing $5M+ TCV and/or multi-year enterprise deals with global Fortune 1000 organizations
- Expertise in managing complex, consensus-driven sales cycles and navigating multiple stakeholder groups
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to build trust and influence at the highest levels
- Strategic thinker who pairs vision with action, balancing innovation with pragmatic execution
