Job Summary
Senior Business Development Manager for a fully remote role focusing on commercial, heavy civil, and infrastructure opportunities. Leverages existing industry relationships to bring immediate, qualified opportunities, develops proposals with operations and estimating teams, and manages the sales pipeline from pursuit through award. Focus areas include energy and renewables, BESS and mission-critical facilities, industrial and petrochemical, and infrastructure and civil projects. Requires a network of clients including EPCs, general contractors, developers, and owners; strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to travel as needed; and a results-driven, entrepreneurial mindset. Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, identifying opportunities, collaborating on competitive proposals, representing the company in meetings and events, providing market intelligence, and tracking sales activities and forecasts.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales or business development experience in commercial and/or heavy civil construction
- Experience and knowledge of drilled shafts, micropiles, secant piles, slurry walls, ACIP Piles, Helical Piles or shoring systems a plus but not required
- An established network and active book of business capable of generating immediate revenue
- Strong understanding of project procurement, bidding strategies, and contract structures
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
