Job Summary
Senior Business Development Manager to oversee key customer accounts and drive business opportunities that support sustainable, long-term growth. Responsibilities include driving expansion of Velocity’s market share by strengthening relationships with existing customers and developing new client opportunities; identifying, developing, and implementing strategic business opportunities through value-added programs; leading growth initiatives; conducting market analysis and strategic planning; collaborating with Sales Management to coach Strategic Account Managers; negotiating with multinational customers to secure Approved Vendor status; coordinating cross-functional efforts to align corporate strategies with market insights; planning and executing client engagement strategies, including regular client visits; managing travel expenses reports; developing and presenting periodic performance reports including sales forecasts and regional plans; and promoting Velocity’s culture and value proposition to customers and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4-year college degree in a sales related field
- 8+ years of sales or business development experience in the electronic components industry
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing, account management, CRM
