Senior Business Development Manager in Perth responsible for representing Datacom to government and corporate customers, promoting IT service offerings across managed services, cybersecurity, cloud and digital platforms, and developing new business opportunities. You’ll leverage a substantial Perth network at C-level, manage long sales cycles with pre-sales collaboration, qualify opportunities quickly, and maintain strong vendor and customer relationships. The role emphasizes driving targets, influencing negotiations, and applying technical knowledge to diverse audiences while working with Salesforce for opportunity progression; remote/hybrid work options are encouraged to suit the team.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of sales experience in the Perth market
- Experience working with government agencies and corporate customers
- Strong ability to manage long sales cycles including RFP responses
- Ability to absorb and communicate technical information to diverse audiences
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Experience using Salesforce as the sales CRM
