Job Summary
Drive new business revenue and hit sales goals for University of Miami Athletics by offering full menu seating opportunities for Football, Men's and Women's Basketball, and Baseball. Coordinate and execute sales calls through prospecting, cold calling, referrals, and database leads to identify new prospects and cultivate long-term relationships with donors, ticket holders, businesses, and community partners. Entertain and nurture these relationships via networking events, game seat visits, open houses, and outside meetings while effectively using Salesforce CRM to record all interactions. Work in conjunction with the Athletic Department to promote ticketed events, manage administrative functions, and set in-stadium or out-of-office appointments. Must be willing to work non-traditional hours, weekends, and game days to reach and exceed individual and team revenue goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent

- Must be able to handle a heavy volume of outbound and inbound phone calls and emails
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and effectively influence and communicate with C-level clients

Desired Qualifications
- 2-3+ years of sales experience is preferred
- Experience selling 5 and 6 figure ticketing and donations deals is preferred
- Proven ability to generate new business, drive additional purchases, and upsell from existing donors and ticket holders is preferred
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Maintain a professional image and positive attitude
- Serve as a main point of contact for new business and general athletic ticket inquiries that come in through inbound phone calls, email, and social media
- Set and conduct in-stadium, arena and out-of-the-office sales appointments
- Reach and exceed individual and team sales revenue goals
- Assist with managing and stewarding existing season ticket members and donors, when appropriate
- Prospect and cultivate new sales leads through creative lead generation methods, as well as follow up on leads provided by partner organizations
- Candidate should possess excellent time management and organizational skills
- Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best
