Job Summary
Hunt down new business opportunities and convert cold leads into long-term CRO partnerships by building and growing a high-value sales pipeline across your territory. Pitch boldly to senior and C-level sponsor stakeholders to close complex Phase IāIV, Full-Service, and FSP deals, leading client conversations from first contact through RFPs and contract signatures. Partner closely with Operations and Proposals teams to turn opportunities into winning solutions while tracking progress in CRM to forecast and hit ambitious growth targets.
Required Qualifications
- Seasoned CRO deal-maker with deep roots in life sciences
- Strong appetite for winning new business
- Ability to open doors, build pipelines, and close complex clinical development deals
- Comfort talking Phase IāIV, Full Service, and FSP with senior sponsor stakeholders
- Thrive on prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and landing long-term partnerships
- Commercially sharp, results-driven
- Not afraid to chase ambitious growth targets
- Live in CRM (Salesforce is your second home)
- Ability to hop on a plane to seal the deal

- Ability to represent Optimapharm with confidence to senior and C-level sponsor stakeholders
- Ability to partner closely with Operations and Proposals teams to turn opportunities into winning solutions
- Ability to keep a sharp eye on the market, competitors, and trends
- Ability to act faster than everyone else
- Ability to live in the CRM, track progress, forecast like a pro, and hit (or beat) targets
