Job Summary
Develop technical solutions and respond to Advance Notices, Sources Sought, RFIs, and RFPs/Solicitations for Navy services, USCG, and DHS. Manage proposal development processes by preparing detailed plans, tracking timelines, and ensuring compliance with RFP requirements while coordinating kickoff meetings and color team reviews. Communicate technical solutions and requirements to senior leadership and maintain all proposal documents and deliverables on the company share drive. Conduct pre-RFP "Go/No-Go" assessments with Division Managers to develop win strategies. Requires 10+ years in Navy ship acquisition and 3+ years supporting DoD/DoN RFPs. U.S. citizenship and active security clearance are mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Must have at least 10 years' experience in Navy ship acquisition and new construction, ship repair and maintenance, operations, and/or training
- Must have at least 3 years' experience in supporting proposal efforts for DoD/DoN RFPs
- Demonstrated experience in generating proposal materials (e.g., outlines, briefings, schedules, compliance matrix)
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint
- Must be U.S. Citizen
- Must have active Security Clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance
