Senior Business Development Account Manager driving revenue growth by cultivating dealer and vendor relationships, presenting financing programs, negotiating terms, and closing deals. Key responsibilities include outbound prospecting (approx. 50 calls/day), maintaining customer relationships, managing a sales territory, collaborating with credit and operations, and mentoring junior team members. Requires equipment financing knowledge, effective communication, Salesforce proficiency, and a proactive, entrepreneurial approach to meet sales targets while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in equipment financing
- Bachelor’s degree desired but not required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com and MS Office
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit
- Team-oriented with ability to mentor junior staff
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing and managing a sales territory
- Ability to close deals and relay credit decisions promptly
- Experience with CRM and sales funnel management
