Market Republic Indemnity products and services in California to achieve profitable new business growth and high renewal retention. Develop a productive agency plant and territory by creating marketing plans, prospecting, and managing agency relationships to meet production and profitability objectives. Cultivate strong relationships with key agencies by providing tailored insurance solutions, educating them on product features, and conducting market research to inform strategic decisions. This role requires candidates to reside in San Diego or Orange County, work from home, and travel up to 60% of the time including occasional overnight trips.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- 3 to 6 years of experience in strategic business development, marketing, or related role
- Preferably in California workers' compensation
- Ability to travel up to 60% annually
- Occasional overnight travel required
- Candidates must reside in San Diego or Orange County
- Familiarity with CA brokers in the southern California territory
- Ability to clearly demonstrate an understanding of Republic Indemnity's product through effective group presentations and one-on-one communication
- Experience in underwriting, loss control, or claims is a plus
