Job Summary
Lead the further development and continuous improvement of the Business Continuity methodology for Zalando Payments. Plan, prepare, and execute Business Impact Analyses and BCM risk assessments; develop and implement business continuity and ICT response plans. Conduct audits and testing exercises for internal teams and third-party providers, while advancing crisis management processes. Maintain awareness channels and training programs, advise business units on BCM issues, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industrial standards.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Law, Economics, Computer Science or a comparable course of study
- At least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in a financial institution consulting company, an industrial company or a corresponding in-house function
- Good understanding of BCM processes
- Good knowledge of practice-relevant standards such as ISO 22301 / 27301, DORA, ZAG MaRisk
- Self-driven individual
- Business fluent in written and spoken English
- Strong communication skills
- Hands-on self-starter with demonstrated success in navigating ambiguity, managing pressure, and delivering practical solutions
- Embraces challenges and is excited about building structure from the ground up while ensuring resilience and stability for the business
- Experience in translating data gathered from BCM activities into actionable insights

- Experience managing BCM-related projects is nice to have
