Job Summary
Senior Business Consultant - Vice President within Corporate/Business Banking focused on underserved communities. Lead business development and client advisory efforts to build relationships with underserved entrepreneurs, align financial solutions with client needs, and collaborate across Chase lines of business to deliver comprehensive banking solutions. Leverage knowledge of business, finance, banking, credit, and risk management to drive portfolio growth, work with community organizations and foundations, and provide proactive, tailored guidance to clients while maintaining a seamless client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a business banking relationship management role or related business / commercial lending experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Strong relationship management skills; demonstrate strong tactical business development and negotiation skills
- Demonstrate seasoned judgment to offer comprehensive and customized solutions that best meet client needs; monitors and researches market/industry trends and business outcomes to anticipate client needs and present proactive solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of business and credit underwriting
- Experience owning/operating a small business
- Strong relationship management and negotiation skills
