Job Summary
Senior-level relationship-management role in Wells Fargo's Business Banking team. Responsible for sourcing and onboarding new business clients through strategic prospecting and referrals, expanding COIs, and deepening existing relationships by understanding client priorities and identifying opportunities for engagement. Manages a moderately complex book of business, drives portfolio growth through deposits and deepening credit relationships, and structures secured and unsecured credit solutions in coordination with credit partners. Delivers tailored financial strategies using Wells Fargo products (credit, treasury management, digital banking) and collaborates with product teams to solve client challenges, while maintaining risk discipline and regulatory compliance. Role involves visiting customers outside the office, needs assessment, and presenting credit recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders; LO requirements under Regulation Z apply for applicable candidates. The position emphasizes proactive service, client advisory, and ongoing risk management to retain and grow client relationships.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of banking experience or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience sourcing and/or managing a portfolio of clients with $2mm - $25mm in annual revenue
- BS/BA degree or higher
- Strong knowledge of deposit and cash management products and services
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to balance client needs with risks and Wells Fargo policies
- Experience in business-to-business sales
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Regulatory compliance with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements for LO positions
