Job Summary
Senior Business Banking Relationship Manager responsible for advising complex Business Banking clients with profitable relationships, acting as primary contact and collaborating with Product Specialists to design and deliver financial solutions. Manages a portfolio of complex clients with annual revenues of $5-50 million, conducts cross-selling, analyzes financial statements and cash flow, and coordinates with Investment Banking, Foreign Exchange, and Wealth Management to serve clients. Leads discussions on industry trends, alternative capital structures, and business issues; coaches peers and adapts to changing sales practices while maintaining a strong client-centric approach. Requires five+ years in commercial lending/portfolio management and a track record of growing client relationships; role emphasizes governance, risk management, and delivering comprehensive financial solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial lending, business development, commercial credit and portfolio management in business banking or middle market sector
- Experience managing an extensive portfolio of clients with annual revenues of $20-$50 million
- Proven track record of sales, prospecting new business and enhancing existing relationships
- Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and cash flow analysis to assess and analyze financial conditions of companies and industry trends
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics or related field or equivalent relevant work experience
