Job Summary
Create detailed business requirements for functional and non-functional capabilities within the Cash Management development team. Gather and interpret information from multiple sources, including databases and interviews, to make recommendations on technology solutions. Translate technical concepts to business audiences and business information to technical audiences while validating test cases to ensure scripts evaluate business functions. Partner with application development teams to document processes, develop estimates, and lead small to medium projects. Work with User Experience resources to visualize requirements into prototypes and apply principles in risk management and change management.
Required Qualifications
- More than five (5) years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience
- Financial Services experience
- Experience in working with IT and business stakeholders at various levels
- Experience with gathering business requirements
- Experience with data analysis/data mapping and the ability to query relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server)
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication as well as ability to create/maintain effective presentations and technical documentation
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Detailed understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile/Scrum, Waterfall)
- Experience with Mainframe / HP NonStop / SIS Back Office
- Experience with reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., SSRS, Tableau)
- Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite – Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Word
- Ability to assume ownership and responsibility, act as a key liaison between application development and business operations
- Ability to understand in-depth details of business processes and rules
- Ability to document and communicate them effectively to various technical and non-technical partners
- Ability to identify and understand issues, problems and opportunities; compare data from different sources to draw conclusions
- Ability to clearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message
- Ability to use effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions; recommend or take action that is consistent with available facts, constraints, and probable consequences
- Ability to demonstrate a strong knowledge in position-related areas; remain current with developments and trends in areas of expertise
- Ability to develop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals
- Ability to make internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of actions; develop and sustain productive client relationships
- Ability to work in a team environment to facilitate collaboration
- May occasionally work a non-standard shift including nights and/or weekends
- Bachelor's: Business Administration
- Bachelor's: Computer and Information Science
- High School (HS)
- 3 to 6 years
Desired Qualifications
- More than five (5) years of relevant technical business analysis or technical analysis experience is highly preferred
- Financial Services experience is highly preferred
