Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst with deep experience in financial software product development, focusing on front/m middle-office workflows and integration with CRD components. Responsible for translating complex business requirements into functional and technical specifications, collaborating with customers, product management, and development teams, contributing through the full software development lifecycle, performing manual validation, beta testing support, and training, and participating in Agile ceremonies to ensure on-time delivery and quality.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of software development lifecycle experience, Agile methodologies preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation skills
- Advanced writing skills, including ability to abstract/summarize highly detailed information
- Strong analytical skills, including ability to reconcile conflicting data
- Ability to translate customer business needs into application requirements
- Experience with middle office investment management functions including position and tax lot reconciliation
- Familiarity with various types of financial instruments
- Experience with MSSQL and ETL tools like Kettle or Talend is a plus
- Demonstrated planning and scheduling skills
- Ability to independently ramp up and proactively resolve impediments to make progress
- Curiosity and interest in financial markets and trading
- Demonstrated ability translating business requirements into comprehensive functional and technical product specification documents
- Knowledgeable in one or more CRD functional financial areas is strongly desired
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with great attention to detail
- Education: BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or study of Business with an MIS background. MS/MBA degree strongly preferred
- Salary Range: $110,000 - $188,750 Annual
