Job Summary
Envision, develop, and create requirements to improve tools that streamline processes and improve key metrics. Apply techniques to facilitate meetings and workshops, create shared understanding with stakeholders, and engage team members to produce product and portfolio roadmaps. Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to decompose large epics into features and user stories for development team approval. Facilitate Increment and planning sessions with clients and team members to ensure work is well defined and understood. Assist in using JIRA as an Agile Lifecycle Management Tool to track work across multiple product teams and provide guidance on reporting progress against epics. Handle administrative functions in Salesforce applications, including maintenance of user accounts, profiles, roles, security, data access, workflows, sharing rules, and permission sets. Keep up-to-date on new Salesforce features to determine internal implementation. Use excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and present findings. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree, 4+ years of federal government business analysis experience, and eligibility for a government security clearance. The position involves working independently in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 4+ years of functioning as a business analyst for the federal government
- Eligible to obtain and maintain and government security clearance
- Able and willing to work independently and in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, with minimal supervision
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent communication skills, verbal and written to both technical and non-technical audiences that are in a geographically dispersed environment (conference calls, Skype, face-to-face)
- Ability to produce high quality technical documentation and analysis
- Take initiative to recommend process improvements and demonstrate creative thinking
- Knowledge and experience with Agile and DevSecOps methodologies
- Demonstrate sharp, analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- 4+ years of experience with Scrum/Kanban Methodologies
- 4+ years of experience serving as the Product Owner or Scrum Master
- Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
- Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com data structure and understanding of how to leverage the tool to meet complex process and reporting requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master certification is preferred
- SAFe Certifications
