Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst to lead definition of target-state functional capabilities for ClientLink, translate business needs into functional designs, create use cases and user stories with clear acceptance criteria, and collaborate with engineering on solution design and debugging to support modernization of a portfolio management platform.
Required Qualifications
- Must Have’s: Strong SQL and data analysis capability
- Experience defining: Functional specifications, Data mappings, System flows
- Experience with: APIs, batch processing, and system integrations
- Experience with analyzing and validating end-to-end flows: Transactions, positions, valuations, performance
- Proven ability to: Translate business needs into structured functional designs; Create clear, consumable specifications for engineering
- Experience working on: Modernization or transformation initiatives; Legacy-to-modern system transitions
- 5+ years working experience as a Business System Analyst / Technical Systems Analyst
- Experience in: Large, complex enterprise platforms; Cross-system integrations
- Understanding of: positions vs transactions and evaluation / performance concepts
- Nice-to-have: Experience with different project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall); Wealth management / capital markets experience
- Prior experience in modernization programs strongly preferred
