Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst: leads structured requirements gathering for Reinsurance Accounting/Technical Accounting (workshops, interviews) and aligns with involved domains and Business Owners. Translates requirements into actionable User Stories/Spezifications incl. acceptance criteria; actively supports the Product Owner in backlog refinement and prioritization. Ensures end-to-end implementation along the Accounting value chain (source data, postings, reconciliation, subledger & general ledger provisioning and reporting) with traceability from requirement to test. Performs fit-gap analyses and solution scoping in SAP FS-RI standard/customizing and derives options and impacts (process/data/IT). clarifies data interfaces (subledger & GL, mapping, data quality rules) to ensure correct posting logic, reconciliation and audit trail. Defines and coordinates test strategy, test cases and UAT incl. evidence for acceptance criteria; quality assurance for releases, upgrades and integrations. Analyzes incidents/defects, root-cause analysis and sustainable fixes in collaboration with development, operations and external partners. Strong stakeholder and communication skills across business, Finance, IT and external partners. Proficient in German and English (min. C1). Required Qualifications
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung als Senior Business Analyst im Rückversicherungsumfeld mit Schwerpunkt Accounting/Technical Accounting
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in SAP FS-RI inkl. Standard/Customizing sowie Verständnis angrenzender Finance-Komponenten (Subledger/GL) und Integrationen
- Souverän im agilen Requirements Engineering: Elicitation, Backlog Refinement und Priorisierung; Erstellung von User Stories nach INVEST inkl. Akzeptanzkriterien sowie DoR/DoD
- Erfahrung in Prozess- und Datenmodellierung (End-to-End Flows, Mapping, Business Rules) inkl. Sicherstellung von Audit-Trail, Kontrollen und Nachvollziehbarkeit
- Praxis in Fit-Gap- und Impactanalysen (Prozess/Daten/IT) sowie in der Ausarbeitung von Lösungsoptionen/Entscheidungsvorlagen
- Test- & Qualitätsmanagement: Teststrategie, Testfälle/-daten, UAT-Steuerung, Release-Abnahmen; strukturierte Defect- und Root-Cause-Analysen
- Ausgeprägte Stakeholder- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit (Fachbereich, Finance, IT, externer Partner:innen)
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse (mind. C1) in Wort und Schrift
