Job Summary
Act as the primary liaison between clients, trade stakeholders, and the development team to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements for Customs risk management and Single Window solutions. Collaborate closely as a Product Owner to refine backlogs, define user stories, and validate acceptance criteria while supporting pre-sales workshops and solution demonstrations. Analyze and optimize Customs business processes, ensure compliance with international trade standards, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing to gather feedback for iterative improvements. Provide functional oversight on defect triaging and maintain full traceability of requirements from conception through delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Proven experience in product ownership or acting as a proxy Product Owner in agile environments
- Experience with requirements management tools, workflow systems, and business process modeling
- Strong stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and facilitation skills
- Proficiency in English
- Knowledge of project management and change control processes
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with geographically distributed stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Domain knowledge in Customs operations and trade facilitation
- Familiarity with international trade standards, and compliance requirements from organizations such as WCO, WTO, and UN/CEFACT
- A good understanding of Customs processes, risk management frameworks, and Single Window implementations
- Additional languages such as Arabic or Urdu
