Job Summary
Engage with stakeholders to understand business objectives, pain points, and process gaps. Gather, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements, including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Translate business requirements into clear specifications for Engineering and QA teams while coordinating across internal teams, technology partners, and suppliers. Work closely with Product Managers and Engineering throughout the SDLC to support solution design, UAT planning, and business validation. Manage requirement traceability, scope changes, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Drive clarity and alignment across business and technology stakeholders while supporting production issues through business impact analysis.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst or similar role
- Strong experience in requirement gathering, functional analysis and documentation
- Strong BRD, FRD, user story, acceptance criteria and process-mapping skills
- Ability to translate complex business processes into clear technology requirements
- Understanding of APIs, integrations, databases and basic software architecture
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience working with Product and Engineering teams throughout the SDLC
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence
Desired Qualifications
- Travel industry experience across OTA, TMC, B2B travel, airline, hotel or transfer platforms
- Understanding of GDS, NDC, airline/hotel APIs, booking, ticketing and post-booking
- Exposure to Postman, JSON/XML, SQL or data analysis
