Senior Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst at Omaze Germany will own and shape the analytics strategy for the German market, partnering with senior leaders across German and UK teams to drive commercial decisions. Responsibilities include owning customer analytics across Germany, defining lifecycle stages and segments, analyzing acquisition/engagement/retention/LTV, leading pricing, margin, and profitability analyses, identifying commercial opportunities through customer/product/cohort analyses, and building retention, churn, survival, and forecasting models. You’ll improve measurement frameworks, apply causal inference techniques (Difference-in-differences, synthetic controls, propensity modelling, instrumental variables), build revenue forecasts and scenario models, support planning for draw cycles and marketing investment, and promote best practices in analytics, instrumentation, and data-driven decision-making. You’ll champion analytics excellence, conduct deep-dives and root-cause analyses, and collaborate with commercial, marketing, product, engineering, and leadership teams. Requirements include 3+ years in relevant analytics roles, strong SQL, Python and/or R skills, experience with Databricks/Snowflake/BigQuery, excellent German and English communication, and a product/finance/customer-behavior focus. Extra: 3 days in person, 2 days remote per week; contract is permanent, full-time; German and English business fluent; remote options available with Munich as the office location.
