Job Summary
Implement quality initiatives within the Main Operating Room by providing subject matter expertise for reporting, analysis, and business definition. Serve as a liaison between internal and external customers and Information Technology for scope, testing, and implementation to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Manage EPIC reporting on OR statistics, volumes, and case lengths while auditing perioperative documents and troubleshooting system issues. Maintain scheduling blocks and build surgical blocks within the block application. Requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of healthcare experience, and a preferred perioperative or registered nursing background. Full-time day shift from 7 AM to 3:30 PM at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 3 years of Healthcare Experience
- 3 years of Analysis
- 3 years of project management required or similar skillset
- Background in Epic Reporting
- Registered nursing license preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Perioperative background within a main operating room
- Registered nursing background in Operating Room preferred
- Clinical Experience preferred
