Senior Business Analyst (m/f)

Job Summary
Analyze and model business processes to understand client needs and identify areas for improvement. Write functional specifications and collaborate with the team to define requirements for development and integration with other systems. Ensure solution quality through pre-delivery testing and validation while actively participating in sprint reviews to gather client feedback. Educate end-users during solution adoption and support presales by contributing to high-level solution proposals. Coordinate development activities with external partners and vendors when needed. Promote the product vision and ensure alignment with business goals throughout the lifecycle. Facilitate adherence to established methodologies and best practices through training and team support.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree in IT, economics (informatics focus), or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in business analysis or IT product management, preferably involving complex processes and diverse industries
- Strong knowledge of business process modeling (BPMN)
- Excellent analytical and documentation skills
- Experience with relational databases
- A basic understanding of SQL, APIs, or other relevant technologies
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to engage both internal teams and external clients
- A proven ability to resolve conflicting requirements and support decision-making through structured analysis
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- A flexible, collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt in a changing environment
- Experience in mentoring team members and applying Agile methodologies (SCRUM)
- Ability to maintain both a strategic overview and deep-dive into technical or business details when needed
