Job Summary
Define Rocket Growth core metrics and decompose growth and profitability drivers to provide actionable insights for business and finance leaders. Formulate and validate hypotheses, perform root cause analysis to identify bottlenecks, and propose action plans. Design, build, and operate data mart infrastructure, pipelines, and dashboards to ensure reliable reporting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders. Continuously improve and automate existing analysis and reporting processes to enhance team productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher (major unspecified)
- 6+ years of data analysis practical experience
- Experience in physical business domains such as commerce, retail, logistics, or manufacturing
- SQL expert-level capability including designing complex queries, performance optimization, and building data marts in distributed query engine environments (e.g., Trino/Presto, Hive)
- Experience designing and operating dashboards using BI visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience identifying key elements in complex business problems with intertwined inputs and outputs, defining them as measurable metrics and formulas to design KPI systems
- Experience deriving insights through hypothesis formulation and validation, and communicating clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience managing multiple stakeholder requests simultaneously, prioritizing them, and delivering results
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Codex) in practice, or an active attitude to quickly learn and improve productivity with such tools
- Experience with Python for data processing, automation, and report automation
- Experience designing and operating workflow schedulers (e.g., Airflow) or ETL pipelines
- Analysis experience related to financial metrics (revenue, profit, profitability)
- Analysis experience based on business behavior data such as cohort analysis or churn/retention analysis
- Experience designing and operating anomaly detection or risk prediction models
- Business-level English communication skills (oral and written)
