Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst in AustralianSuper's Investment Services group, responsible for analysing and enhancing business solutions across people, process and technology in a rapidly evolving capital markets environment. Acts as SME across Capital Markets and Calypso, facilitates stakeholder workshops, manages vendors/partners, analyzes current state processes, translates requirements into functional solutions, and contributes across the full delivery lifecycle (design, build, testing, deployment, transition). Requires typically 7+ years of BA experience in capital markets or investment environments, strong knowledge of front/middle/back-office operations, proficiency with Calypso or similar systems, and strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Location: Melbourne, Australia. Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years experience as a Business Analyst in capital markets or investment environments
- Calypso and/or similar systems experience
- end-to-end requirements lifecycle experience
- strong analytical, problem-solving and root cause analysis capabilities
- excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- ability to translate business requirements into functional solutions across front/middle/back-office
- experience across full delivery lifecycle (design, build, test, deployment, transition)
- ability to synthesize complex information for senior stakeholders
