Senior Business Analyst - Healthcare

Job Summary

Coordinate a business analyst team's duties on IT projects, nurture newer members, and act as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define and document business requirements. Work with clients to develop specifications at project start, analyze and design business processes supporting technology goals, and partner with technical teams to support healthcare and Medicaid claims processing initiatives. Validate test results to ensure requirements are met and use analytical database software to quantify work impact. This role requires 6+ years of experience and offers fully remote options from contiguous US locations with a salary range of $69,400.00 - $99,200.00.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in a Business Analyst role
  • Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements and communicate effectively with clients, business leaders, and technical teams
  • Experience leading requirements gathering sessions, documenting business processes, and validating solutions through testing and stakeholder review
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor team members and influence project outcomes
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and how business requirements align across the full project lifecycle from planning through implementation and production support
  • Knowledge of software development concepts including configuration, development, integrations, and batch processing
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, SQL, and requirements management tools such as ALM
  • Experience working within enterprise applications and workflow platforms
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams to support system enhancements, implementations, and healthcare claims processing solutions
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
  • Fully remote options from Contiguous US locations only

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting Medicaid, Medicare, and/or Medicaid Claims programs
  • ServiceNow experience
