Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst at Gainwell contributing to IT projects and healthcare outcomes. Coordinates a business analyst team’s duties, guides newer team members, and serves as a bridge between clients, project managers, and technical staff to define, document, and share business requirements. Works with clients to develop business specs at project start, analyzes and designs processes to support technology goals, and verifies requirements through test results. Demonstrates proficiency with analytical tools (Excel/SQL) to quantify impact and supports the organization in achieving healthcare objectives through governance and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position
- 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
- Knowledge of programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
- Advanced knowledge in Excel or SQL and ALM tools
- Strong client communication and ability to translate client needs
- Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
- Executive presence and communication skills for delivering to business leaders
- Leadership qualities to motivate others and communicate technical ideas clearly
