Senior Business Analyst - Financial Instruments Data

Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst in Avaloq's Banking Operations leading Asset Data Sourcing for Asset Hub, owning data migration projects, designing business rules and mappings, coordinating with clients and vendors (SIX Financial Information, Bloomberg), and collaborating with internal stakeholders across IT, Product, and regional teams to deliver client-specific Master Data Services solutions. Requires strong banking/financial services background, data governance and master data management expertise, experience with SIX Financial Information data feeds (VDFS/VDF), Temenos DataSource (TDS) implementation knowledge, SQL/PL/SQL proficiency, and German and English fluency; Italian or French a plus. Hybrid work arrangement in Zurich, Switzerland.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in reference and market data management (e.g. Asset Hub of a Bank)
- A proven IT or business qualification
- Strong hands-on experience in financial instruments, master data, data delivery, Data modelling and target-system mapping
- In-depth knowledge in the SIX Financial Information data feed (VDF/VDFS) management of financial data content and data delivery
- A solid experience of the Enterprise Data Management system "Temenos DataSource” (TDS) is a mandatory
- Experience in TDS rule engine, configuration, customization and data modelling is highly desirable
- Practical knowledge in SQL. PL/SQL scripting is required
- Fluent in German and English
- Italian or French would be a plus
