Job Summary
Senior Business Analyst, OPL to join Intact in Canada. Responsibilities include cost allocation and financial controls, partnering with regional Finance for month-end and budget allocations, validating allocations and maintaining internal controls, supporting new or revised accounting standards, and serving as a key contact for auditors. Maintain and enhance the Oracle EPCM cost allocation tool and ensure smooth data flow during budgeting. Act as a bridge between business, IT, end users, and leadership; gather and document requirements; facilitate cross-functional workshops; coordinate organizational-change initiatives; support QA testing. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (CPA preferred); minimum 5 years in functional analysis and process improvement; advanced Excel and Oracle EPCM/EPBCS/Smart View; knowledge of insurance industry; strong analytical and communication skills; autonomous and team-oriented; excellent time management; must be eligible to work in Canada; bilingualism required for Quebec interactions; 35-hour workweek. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (or equivalent); CPA preferred
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in functional analysis and process improvement
- Advanced Excel and the Oracle ecosystem (EPCM, EPBCS, Smart View)
- Knowledge of the insurance industry (an asset)
- No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
- Bilingualism in Quebec considered a requirement due to interaction with English-speaking colleagues across the country
