Job Summary
Conduct workshops and stakeholder interviews across Finance, Procurement, Asset Management, Operations, and IT teams to define business requirements for an Oracle-to-Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central transformation. Document current ERP modules, user groups, and processes, then produce end-to-end process maps covering Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Rpt, Fixed Assets, and Order-to-Cash. Catalogue integrations, data flows, and master data structures while assessing customisations and manual workarounds. Develop prioritised business requirements, fit-gap analyses, and governance-quality documentation for solution design and procurement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive Business Analysis experience on ERP transformation or ERP implementation programmes
- Strong understanding of Finance and ERP processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills across business, finance, and technology teams
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
- Rail, transport, or regulated industry experience
- Finance transformation programme experience
- Knowledge of financial controls, audit processes, and compliance requirements
- Experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards, SAP, Dynamics 365, or similar enterprise platforms
- Proven experience conducting discovery phases and requirements elicitation
- Process modelling experience using Visio, BPMN, or equivalent methodologies
- Experience documenting integrations, interfaces, and data flows
- Experience producing governance-quality documentation for steering boards and senior leadership teams
- Experience working alongside system integrators and third-party suppliers
