Senior Business Analyst - Data Management

Senior Business Analyst within the Data Management and Governance team responsible for enterprise data governance, data quality, metadata management, and information classification, retention and disposal. Translate policy, regulatory, privacy and risk requirements into clear business and functional requirements and redesigned processes, controls and governance artefacts. Lead complex business analysis across data governance domains, map processes, create user guides, and drive adoption of governance practices. Collaborate with Information Trustees/Stewards and delivery teams, facilitate workshops, produce high-quality analysis artefacts and documentation, and ensure processes are auditable, compliant and current over time. Experience in regulated environments and familiarity with frameworks like DAMA or DCAM will be advantageous. Appointment subject to background checks including Working with Children and National Police Checks. The role emphasizes operational ownership, attention to detail, and ongoing process maturation across the university’s data governance program.
