Senior Business Analyst - Assistant Vice President

Senior Business Analyst - Assistant Vice President acting as a BA/ SME in the market risk technology space. Liaises between business users and technologists to exchange information concisely and logically with the Technology team. Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex projects, fostering communication between business leaders and IT. Consults with users/clients to solve complex system issues through evaluation of business processes, systems and industry standards; recommends solutions. Supports system change processes from requirements through implementation; provides input based on analysis. Advises business clients to determine system functional specifications and provides user/operational support. Identifies and communicates risks and impacts, considering business implications of applying technology to the current environment. Acts as advisor/coach to new or lower-level analysts and works as a team to achieve business objectives, with the ability to operate with limited supervision and independence. Demonstrates SME-level knowledge to senior stakeholders and/or other team members, and escalates/reporting control issues with transparency. Ensures risk is appropriately assessed in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup and assets, while driving compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
