Job Summary
Senior Bus Operations Manager responsible for overseeing all bus operation services, ensuring safe execution in accordance with contract and Employer’s satisfaction; lead a team to monitor, report, and manage deployment of the network, timetables, and related planning activities; manage contract with the Bus Operator (multi-billion contract) and oversee interfaces with ITS, Infrastructure, Metro O&M, and other Public Transport Contractors; drive KPI reporting, crisis management procedures, incident response, SOP compliance, maintenance regime, and network optimization; ensure 24-7 availability for major incidents and coordinate with stakeholders for crisis management, reporting, and continuous improvement; requires university degree and at least 15 years of bus operations experience, strong organizational, project management, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and ability to work with minimal supervision; candidate should have western nationality (North American or European).
Required Qualifications
- University Degree
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in bus operations in either combination roles (operational experience in bus operating company, client organization managing a bus operator, or consultant team managing bus operator)
- Proven organizational skills, including time management
- Project management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-sufficiency and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be of Western nationality such as North American or European
