Job Summary
Senior Building Engineer responsible for leading engineering and maintenance operations across Denver-based commercial and retail properties; manage HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety, and building automation systems (including Metasys, Tracer, and MRI Angus work order system); implement and oversee preventive maintenance; supervise the engineering team, coordinate with vendors and property managers, and support tenant requests and buildouts; ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation of building systems, drive energy management and continuous improvement, and maintain comprehensive repair and maintenance records.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in building engineering operations
- minimum of 2 years of experience in management or supervisory role
- High school diploma or GED
- relevant technical certifications (EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification, Fire/Life Safety certifications, Electrical License, BOC or BOMI, Certified Energy Manager, LEED or other sustainability credentials)
