Senior Build Engineer

Own prototyping and first builds of new hardware designs; collaborate with Design Engineering to understand end-use applications and ensure manufacturability; take full ownership of manufacturing and build of new product designs; prototype components with manufacturability, integration, and performance as core constraints; support test tooling creation with Test Engineering; ensure DFM feedback is implemented with Design Engineers; manage tooling configurations and BOM structure in line with aerospace standards; provide continuous feedback to optimize for reliability and cost; support build and manufacturing processes in internal shops; assist with equipment selection and onboarding; serve as subject-matter expert for manufacturing processes; evaluate product catalogs to identify expansion opportunities; contribute to factory designs and manufacturing engineering evaluations; work with cross-functional teams to expand manufacturing capabilities; proficient in CAD, PLM/PDM, GD&T, and Materials & Processing; hands-on experience with mechanical design and manufacturing constraints; ITAR compliance and U.S. person requirement implied by posting.
