Job Summary
Senior Broadcast Network Engineer responsible for architectural design and operational excellence across the Broadcast (Red) and Production (Blue) zones. Design and implement spine-leaf architectures and VLAN/VRF isolation, harden perimeter security with Fortinet and CrowdStrike, manage Juniper SRX/EX and Arista switching for high-throughput video delivery with PTP synchronization, physically deploy networks (rack, cabling, VPNs, QoS, load balancers), serve as Tier-3 escalation for outages, author scalable technical documentation, and collaborate with RF and Studio Engineering teams to optimize SRT/RTMP streaming workflows. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 7-10 years in senior-level, high-availability environments; expertise in Fortinet, Juniper, Arista, VMware, Azure/Office 365; and certifications such as JNCIP, CCNP, or CCNA preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related technical field
- 7-10 years of senior-level experience in high-availability environments (Broadcast or Telecom experience is a major plus)
- Fortinet Firewall Management expertise
- Juniper SRX/EX switching and Junos OS
- Arista, Brocade, and Dell switching environments
- VMware, Active Directory, and Windows Server (2019/2022)
- Azure and Office 365 integration within a hybrid-cloud model
- JNCIP, CCNP, or CCNA preferred
