Job Summary
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will design and manage bridge projects for public clients, facilitate team collaboration, develop scopes of work, and ensure plan compliance throughout design development. You will provide mentoring and leadership to a diverse design team while managing bridge inspections and preparing detailed reports. The role requires proficiency with industry-accepted software, a strong background in bridge design, and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Transportation, or Structural Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of bridge design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) licensure required
- Proficiency with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience with design of routine and major bridges
Desired Qualifications
- Bridge inspection experience
- National Highway Institute (NHI) Certification as a Team Leader
- SPRAT certification
