Job Summary
Senior Bridge Engineer responsible for technical task management, leading bridge design tasks, staff development, and assisting with business development. Works on municipal/state highway bridge projects, applying structural design codes (AASHTO LRFD/LRFR) and design software (MIDAS, Micro-station, AutoCAD Civil 3D). Interfaces with NHDOT and VTrans, prepares complex calculations, plans, specs, and estimates for concrete and precast decks, steel and concrete superstructures, abutments, wingwalls, culverts, and retaining walls. Manages technical tasks, quality control, client coordination, and daily project execution, and contributes to conceptual, preliminary, and final design documents and overall project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Bridge Engineering
- BS in Civil Engineering
- Demonstrated technical experience
Desired Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Bridge Engineering
- BS/MS in Civil Engineering
- PE License preferred
- Micro-station and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D experience
- Working knowledge of AASHTO Design Guidelines
- Demonstrated technical experience
