Job Summary
Plan, direct, manage, and perform bridge and structural engineering for transportation projects throughout the Pacific Northwest while assisting with the pursuit of new work. Mentor junior engineers and technical staff within the firm's growing structural department. Lead business development efforts and contribute to project management activities for planning, engineering, and construction services. This role requires 10+ years of increasing responsibility with structural design, 5+ years of project management experience, and a PE license. The ideal candidate also holds a Washington State SE license and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with state and local agency bridge design projects and other transportation structures
- 10+ years of increasing responsibility with structural design
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software
- 5+ years of project management experience
- Experience contributing to or leading business development efforts
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
Desired Qualifications
- Master of Science in Civil Engineering (MSCE)
- Washington State SE license
- Bridge project management experience
