Job Summary
Develop relationships with members by becoming their financial expert, opening specialized accounts, and educating them on products that impact their lives. Guide clients toward beneficial financial services, overcome objections, and process complex account requests and consumer loan applications. Act as a team player who wears multiple hats by greeting members, directing inquiries, and answering calls while ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, compliance, audits, and quality control standards. This role combines personal banking with teller responsibilities, involves sales goals, and requires bi-lingual Spanish skills, 2+ years of retail or customer service experience, and proficiency in Data Processing Platforms and Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling)
- Availability to work 40+ hours/week
- Availability to be scheduled Monday - Thursday: 830:AM- 5:30PM
- Availability to be scheduled Friday 8:30AM- 6:30PM
- Availability to work Regular Saturdays 8:30AM- 1:30PM
Desired Qualifications
- Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience
- Bi-lingual Spanish
- Computer proficient in Data Processing Platforms, Email, Internet/Intranet, Instant Messaging, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, work at a fast pace, and stay organized
