Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of church and nonprofit clients by performing full-cycle bookkeeping in QuickBooks Online, including reconciliations, payroll, AP/AR, donation tracking, GST/HST, and month-end reporting. Support onboarding functions for new clients while maintaining accurate, audit-ready financial records. Communicate professionally with clients and collaborate on process improvements within a paperless, cloud-based environment. This role requires a minimum of five years of bookkeeping experience with at least three years in a multi-client setting and three years in QuickBooks Online. Candidates must live within a two-hour drive of Grimsby, Ontario, and possess strong organizational skills for remote work. Required Qualifications
- Live within a 2-3 hour drive to Grimsby
- Minimum 5 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience
- Minimum 3 years in a public accounting firm or multi-client bookkeeping services environment
- Strong full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Minimum 3 years of QuickBooks Online experience (required)
- Experience working in paperless cloud-bookkeeping environments
- Strong understanding of Canadian bookkeeping and payroll processes
- Fully set up for work from home
