Job Summary
Senior BOM Engineer for Intelligence Systems responsible for end-to-end supply chain ownership of Anduril’s hardware BOM across lifecycles. Drive supplier onboarding and development, total cost of material, and cost engineering; collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing; conduct supplier selection, ensure parts are sourceable, and accelerate product development through design-for-sourcing activities; manage NPI and mass production BOM, drive value-stream mapping and risk assessment, optimize lead times, and maintain component qualifications. Requires strong experience in sourcing, supplier engagement, and procurement for electronics/mechanical devices, plus active U.S. security clearance and ability to travel; onsite relocation to Reston, VA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other technical field
- 6+ years of experience in sourcing engineering, supplier engagement and development, or design of electronics and/or mechanical devices
- Domain expertise of value/procurement engineering or TCO-related work at the component & product level
- Active U.S. Secret or TS clearance and ability to maintain clearance
- Ability to travel 10% - 40% of the time, variable based on program needs
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Reston, VA
