Job Summary
Senior Boiler Service Technician responsible for maintenance and repairs on commercial/industrial boiler systems across the NYC/Long Island area. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on low/high pressure, power, steam, and hot water heating boilers; replace faulty components (valves, filters, gauges); monitor safety and performance; ensure OSHA compliance and a high level of customer service; on-call/stbn care; operate on-site with standard tools; welding is a plus; requires confined-space work and physical capability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler maintenance, combustion, instrumentation calibration, and basic boiler circuitry, with the ability to read wiring schematics
- Technical or vocational training in HVAC, industrial boilers, or associated fields
- Extensive knowledge of industrial boiler operation and maintenance
- Strong analytical and mechanical problem-solving skills
- Valid OSHA 30, F-60, and G-60 certifications
- Ability to work standby/on-call schedules as needed
- Own hand tools
- Physically capable of inspecting and repairing boilers, including working in confined spaces and lifting up to 75 pounds
- Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment
