Senior Boiler Service Technician

Job Summary
Senior Boiler Service Technician responsible for maintenance and repairs of commercial/industrial boiler systems across NYC/Long Island. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on boiler systems (low/high pressure, steam, hot water), replace faulty components, monitor safety and performance, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safety and customer-service standards. Requires extensive boiler expertise, ability to read wiring schematics, hands-on use of basic tools, welding as a plus, confinement-space work capability, on-call availability, and successful completion of drug screening/background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in boiler maintenance, combustion, instrumentation calibration, and basic boiler circuitry, with the ability to read wiring schematics.
- Technical or vocational training in HVAC, industrial boilers, or associated fields.
- Extensive knowledge of industrial boiler operation and maintenance.
- Strong analytical and mechanical problem-solving skills.
- Valid OSHA 30, F-60, and G-60 certifications are required.
- Ability to work standby/on-call schedules as needed.
- Own hand tools are required; the company will provide specialty tools as needed.
- Physically capable of inspecting and repairing boilers, including working in confined spaces and lifting up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to perform some welding is a plus.
- Willingness to pass a drug screening and background check prior to employment.
