Job Summary
Diagnose and resolve complex hardware, software, and networked control system issues in mission-critical building management systems. Independently troubleshoot, service, and commission BMS systems by executing tickets from assignment through full resolution within SLA timelines. Perform system upgrades, backups, restores, and configuration changes while reading control drawings to identify and implement solutions. Install and configure control components including sensors, controllers, and panels across commercial and industrial portfolios. Maintain 85% first-time fix rates and 95% QA pass rates while adhering to site safety protocols. Requires 3-5 years of BMS experience and proficiency with Tridium Niagara, with 90% travel and on-call rotation.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years of BMS, building automation, or HVAC controls experience
- Proficiency with Tridium Niagara (N4) or equivalent controls systems
- Strong troubleshooting capability across control systems (hardware, software, and networked systems)
- Travel required based on service and project needs (90%)
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb ladders, and work in mechanical spaces
- Must be able to lift tools and equipment (up to ~50 lbs.)
- Must be able to work in confined or high-access environments as needed
- Must be available for on-call rotation and emergency response requirements
